石 翔 简 介 石翔，字连明，号龙韵， 1954年11月出生于湖南湘西，苗族，艺术博士，教授， 世界和平大使，世界文学艺术界联合会主席，张大千国际美术研究院院长，中国石翔美术馆馆长，中美慈善形像大使。 他是中华民族唯一被中外艺术界名人及中外新闻媒体誉为： “九州神毫”、“艺坛神毫”、“中华神笔” 的艺坛精英。曾被联合国授予： “世界和平大使”、 “世界和平杰出贡献奖”；被世界艺术家联合会授予：“世界当代书画艺术大师”荣誉称号。意象书法作品被联合国邮政署特制发行五十六套邮票。作品被联合国总部及数十个国家博物馆珍藏，曾受到中外数十位国家元首的亲切接见，作品同时被收藏。作品“福禄寿禧财”被茅台酒厂选定礼品酒生产出品。他的事迹已被中央电视台录制专题片“九州神毫”“苗山骄子”向中外多次播放。值得一提的是，他在举办“石翔书画全球巡回展览”的同时，德行天下、善济人间，默默在世界各地做慈善。 因些，他被美国慈善基金会授予：“中华艺坛首善”荣誉称号。不愧为德艺双馨的艺术大师。

Introduction of Shi Xiang Shi Xiang, born in Hunan province in 1954, the Miao, settles in America. As an honorary doctor of arts and a world peace ambassador, Shi Xiang, who is the dean of Jiu Zhou Modern Calligraphy and Painting Institution. Master Shi Xiang is a wizard of arts. He is the only overseas Chinese who was called “Chinese Wizardly Brush”. With profound attainments of culture and arts, as an art explorer, Shi Xiang is accomplished in calligraphy, painting, seal cutting and poems. To Promote Chinese culture and international art communication, he launched the “Chinese Shi Xiang International and National Painting and Calligraphy Exhibition Tour”in China and overseas, which were very successful. His works have also been collected by the United Nations, national museums and some leaders of states, including former leaders of China, Deng Xiaoping, Jiang Zemin, Bo Yibo, Li Peng, Zhu Rongji, Li Ruihuan etc. Shi Xiang has been met by many national and international leaders ,even the Secretary General of the UN. The art accomplishments of Shi Xiang have been made into television feature films called “Chinese Wizardly Brush”and “Pride of the Miao”by China Central Television and Chinese TV Artists Association, which were broadcasted overseas for many times. His works and stories were published by lots of media in the world such as People's Daily, World Journal , Asian Journal , International Daily News , Chinese Voice , Taiwan Daily , Famous Chinese and Foreign Profile and Brand. His works and biography have been noted in dozens of art literature, such as the World Dictionary of Painting , Calligraphy and Carving Artists and Encyclopedia of World Famous Painting and Calligraphy Artists. Shi Xiang has published the Shi Xiang Series and Featured Series of Calligraphy Art. Master Shi Xiang obtains not only brilliant art works but also great characters. Though he is successful and living abroad, he loves his homeland and is devoted to public welfare. He has donated a lot for his homeland and other poverty stricken areas in the world to build schools and roads. He deserves to be an artist with great talent and character, a caring philanthropist and a peace ambassador. On January 13, 2008, Shi Xiang was awarded as “World Contemporary Painting and Calligraphy Art Master”by the World Artists Federation. He also won the“Prize for Outstanding Contribution to World Peace” given by the United Nations on April 25, 2008. On November, 2007, Mr. Shi Xiang was interviewed in the program of China Central Station named “Shi Xiang , Common People, Calligraphy and Painting Celebrity”.
